Here's a work around though for a 1 second fade to black a fade back to video:ġ. Unfortunately PD doesn't have that transistion. I haven't seen a finished DVD yet so I hope that's just a preview thing. Incidentally, the PD dissolve looks a bit flickery - at least on preview. It's really basic but I find it incredibly useful. If not - please add this to a wish list for a future version. without having to add a black insert with dissolves on either side, and fiddle wiith the sound track)? Is there any easy way to add the fade to black (down and up) in Power Director? The ability to fade the sound to nothing and backup is also very important. My films are all holiday films and that's all I ever need or want in the way of transitions.

I only ever use 2 transitions - the fade to black one and the dissolve one. I'm only really missing one thing from Pinnacle Studio - and that is the ability to add a really simple transition that fades to black, and then fades back up from black - while at the same time fading the sound out and then fading it back in.

I've only just started using Power Director but I'm very impressed so far.
